Kevin Robertson, President, POCKETLABWORKS, Inc.

Kevin’s fascination with tone began in Mountain View, CA. While Silicon Valley companies created the computer industry, Kevin poured through boxes of cassettes studying music of the 60s through 90s. After receiving a BSEE from the University of California Santa Barbara, Kevin worked with amp legends Bob Gallien and Richard Krueger, designing the 700RB/1000RB/2000RB series which set today’s standard for professional bass guitar amplification. After receiving a MSEE with emphasis in Signal Processing and Communications, Kevin worked for D2 Technologies in Santa Barbara, CA; developing embedded firmware for mobile devices. With the launch of the App Store, Kevin realized the incredible potential smart mobile devices offer for musicians if matched with efficient, high quality embedded implementations. Kevin founded POCKETLABWORKS, Inc. to deliver professional quality apps and devices for playing music.
